Job summary

Schenk Tanktransport is seeking an experienced LGV Class 1 driver for the Grays depot, with shifts Monday to Friday during the day. Training pay starts at £182.34 per day, then £16.54 per hour with overtime at £24.81. Night outs are £41.54, Saturday rates vary, and bank holidays are paid. A 45-hour weekly guarantee is provided with fully paid breaks and ADR/CPC refreshers.

Essential requirements include a clean LGV1 licence (<6 points), tachograph card, Driver CPC, ADR (except 1 & 7), and strong knowledge of Driver Transport Legislation. Applicant should have at least 2 years Class 1 experience and tanker experience is preferred.

• LGV Class 1 licence with <=6 points.
• A tachograph card and Driver CPC are required.
• ADR licence (except classes 1 & 7) must be held.
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 experience.
• Tanker experience preferred.
