A leading company in modular accommodation is seeking a Class 1 HIAB Driver for a full-time role. You will be responsible for safely driving HGV HIAB vehicles and delivering modular buildings while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations. The position offers potential overtime and requires strong customer service skills as well as relevant driving qualifications.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Driver Licence required.
• Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) essential.
• Understanding of EU driver hours and Working Time Directive.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday, 6am starts

Pay Rate:

£35,434

About the Company:

Our client is a leader in modular accommodation, providing more buildings for hire than anyone else, including modular buildings for sale and rent, as well as off-site permanent buildings for various uses.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely drive and operate HGV HIAB vehicles.
2. Deliver & collect modular buildings and containers from customer sites.
3. Operate the Hiab crane for loading and unloading.
4. Ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
5. Potential of 1-2 hours overtime per day, mainly covering the East Midlands.
6. Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately.
7. Provide excellent customer service.
8. Report vehicle defects.
9. Collaborate with team members for smooth operations.
10. Always represent the company professionally.

Requirements:

1. HGV Class 1 Driver Licence.
2. Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) - Essential.
3. ALLMI Lorry loader D1+E unlimited preferred. Training upgrade considered for the right candidate.
4. Slinger and signaller experience.
5. Good understanding of current regulations regarding EU driver hours, Working Time Directive, and Driver's Tachograph restrictions.
