Job summary

The Best Connection in Tipton is looking for Class 1 HGV drivers for day and night shifts with immediate starts. Join a growing transport team offering regular work, competitive rates, and a supportive environment.

Earn up to £1,225 per week with overtime and weekend rates, and enjoy opportunities for permanent roles in a modern, well-maintained fleet. Typical duties include 1–4 drops per shift, completing vehicle checks and proper paperwork while adhering to tachograph rules and delivering

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 6 months experience.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Professional and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• General haulage, curtain sider, fridge work.
• Typically 1–4 drops per day.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Follow driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Days: £16.50 per hour Overtime after 8 hours: £24.75 per hour

Nights: £17.50 per hour Overtime after 8 hours: £26.25 per hour

Saturday: £24.75 per hour

Sunday & Bank Holidays: £33.00 per hour

THE ROLE
