Job summary

SUEZ is looking for an HGV Class 1 driver to join our site team in Wales. You will perform floor-walking duties, maintain high service standards, and ensure adherence to health and safety rules for customers and colleagues.

You will hold a full UK LGV C+E licence, have at least 1 year CE experience, and hold valid DCPC and tachograph; bulk haulage experience is preferred, with a flexible approach to cover holidays and sickness.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with LGV C+E (Class 1).
• Minimum 1yr C+E experience.
• Valid DCPC & digital tachograph.
• Experience of bulk haulage preferred.
• A good level of customer service and ability to work in a team.
• A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.

Responsibilities

• The role will involve walking floor work, delivering a high standard of service and always ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own.
• Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
• Ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions.
• Co-operating with SUEZ and with other employees to comply with the site permit, comply with all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
• Any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.
