Job summary

Veolia is hiring a Class 1 HGV driver for our paper and cardboard material recovery facility in Willenhall. You will operate roll-on/roll-off vehicles, perform vehicle checks, and manage waste collections while ensuring load security and safe handling of materials.

The role requires a valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence, up-to-date CPC/Digi card, and a can-do attitude with strong time-management skills. Training and development are provided at Veolia.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll on roll off vehicles at the paper and cardboard material recovery facility.
• Conduct vehicle checks and waste collections.
• Manage loading, container tipping, and load security.
• Assist with handling confidential paper waste and manual handling.
• Use ratchet straps and lifting equipment.
