Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading retailer in Coventry. This ongoing role involves delivering to large stores, with two to three drops per shift and some unloading. A box vehicle is used and handball is minimal.

Regular weekend shifts; early mornings or afternoons available. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with at least six months’ experience. Assessments and drug/alcohol tests apply.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least six months’ Class 1 driving experience.
• Willing to complete assessments including drug and alcohol tests.
• Reliable with good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Completing local or distance bay deliveries to large retail stores.
• Making an average of two to three drops or collections per shift.
• Unloading goods when required, with minimal handball.
• Delivering goods safely, promptly and professionally and completing paperwork.
