Job summary

Executive Connect LTD is seeking a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will collect and deliver chilled and ambient goods to customers and distribution centres, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and maintaining high customer service standards.

You will perform vehicle checks, manage goods loading and temperature controls, and comply with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations. A professional, independent work approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Experience driving Class 1 vehicles preferred.
• Experience handling chilled/ambient/food goods is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Collect chilled and ambient goods from suppliers and warehouses.
• Deliver goods to customers and distribution centres on time.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts and maintain records.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured and temperature controlled as required.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and transport teams.
