Job summary

Stobart is hiring a Full-Time Class 1 Ports Driver to operate container movements across the UK. The role includes loading and unloading at customer sites, with on-site safety and compliance responsibilities.

Shifts run Thu-Mon or Fri-Tue with early start windows; we offer permanent contract stability, guaranteed hours, and competitive pay within a supportive team. DCPC and tachograph compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence and DCPC/tachograph cards.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 experience; new pass drivers considered.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Understand drivers hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move containers across the UK and handle loading/unloading at customer sites.
• Perform on-site vehicle checks and report defects.
• Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Driver's hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and professionalism.
