Job summary

GBA Logistics GmbH in Newton Aycliffe is seeking professional Class 1 Drivers to join our Dedicated Fleet. This role offers variety with days and nights in a 5-on, 2-off pattern and regular overtime.

You will conduct daily vehicle checks, ensure safe loading, comply with tachograph rules, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain a professional appearance at all times. We value teamwork and professionalism.

Qualifications

• HGV/LGV licence - Class 1 is mandatory.
• Valid driver card and CPC card required.
• Minimum 3 months general haulage experience and 6 months UK Class 1 driving experience.
• Right to work in the UK, no DD/DR offences, and no more than 3 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Ensure safe and secure loading with correct load restraint.
• Comply with traffic laws, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations.
• Drive safely and fuel-efficiently.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every touchpoint.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional presentation.
