Job description

AJ Group are recruiting for temp to perm HGV Drivers for a retail client in Haydock.

IMMEDIATE STARTS

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for a leading logistics company based in Haydock. This is an excellent opportunity for up to 8 drivers looking for full time employment. Inductions are paid and are available next week. Working with experienced driver trainers, you will be trained on the store and health and safety procedures during your 2 day training.

There are several temp-to-perm positions for the right candidates.

Salary

GBP44,000 pa

Key Responsibilities:
Store deliveries using Class 1 vehicles
Safely unload roll cages at delivery points
Complete pre-use vehicle checks and report any defects
Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to driving regulations
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach

Shift Details:
Start times between 02:00 - 08:00
5 days on, 3 days off rotating shift pattern

Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
Experience with roll cages preferred but not essential
Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations
Reliable, punctual, and professional
