Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for Peterborough, offering up to £24.57 per hour. Join a trusted national brand providing trunking between depots, with morning, evening and weekend shifts available. Expect planned routes, strict safety checks and professional conduct on every run.

Guaranteed hours, weekly pay and pension options are available through PAYE. You will be supported by an onsite Pertemps team and parking/canteen facilities are provided at most depots.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (held for 1+ years).
• A valid and in date CPC + Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on your licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety
• Follow scheduled routes with precision
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run
