Job summary

i4 Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver in Barking, Essex. This full-time, permanent role involves palletised transport across the South East, with a focus on cargo care and minimal deliveries.

You will secure loads, perform daily checks and tachograph duties, and follow a 11-hour shift pattern with 5–6am starts from Monday to Friday. Overtime paid for >11 hours. Londondriving may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must be keen, efficient and have sound safe working practices.
• Always be conscious of the health and safety of yourself and the people around you.
• Valid digital tachograph
• Up-to-date CPC Card.

Responsibilities

• Secure pallets and ensure tachograph and vehicle checks are legal daily.
• Work based on 11-hour days with 5/6am starts, Mon-Fri with no nights out.
• Overtime is paid when you work over 11 hours.
• Palletised transport to commercial premises across the South East; independent driving.
