Job description

Job Title: Class 1 Driver – NIGHTS

Salary: £960.00 (48 hours) to £1200.00 (60 hours) per week. Payment method is PAYE inclusive of holiday pay.

Shift duration: Minimum 12 to 15 hours per day.

Shift Patterns: Thursday to Sunday, Friday to Monday or Saturday to Tuesday.

Job Description:

Our customer is a leading player within the Cargo airfreight industry who has secured a large contract with the UK’s largest airline. As such, they are looking to increase their current workforce. We are looking for drivers who are prepared to be flexible in their approach and are willing to do long-distance driving with frequent overnights, alongside waiting around the horseshoe.

Company Requirements:

1. Valid Digital Tachograph Card
2. Valid Driver Qualification (CPC) Card
3. Valid C+E Entitlement with a minimum of 2 years experience
4. Maximum 6 points on license – DR, DD or IN conviction codes will not be accepted
5. Full 5 Year employment history with no more than 28-day gaps in employment
6. DBS dated within the last 10 weeks (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining one)
7. Valid Cargo Operative Certificate Level D (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining one)
8. Dangerous Goods Category 8 desired (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining one)
9. Manual Handling training (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining this)
10. Health & Safety Awareness training (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining this)
11. Working at heights awareness training (not essential as we can assist you in obtaining this)
12. Be okay to sit a driving assessment with one of the customer's approved driving assessors.
