Job Title: Class 1 Day Drivers

£56,160 pa based on 60 hours per week Mon to Fri with the ability to increase to £62,400 pa if you work a 6th day every other week.
Salary is paid through PAYE and is INCLUSIVE OF HOLIDAY PAY.
Shift duration: Minimum 12 hours per day.

Job Description:

Our customer is a leading player within the Cargo airfreight industry who has secured a large contract with the UK’s largest airline. We are looking for drivers who are flexible and prepared for long-distance driving with frequent overnights and waiting around the horse shoe.

Company Requirements:

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver Qualification (CPC) Card
• Valid C+E Entitlement with minimum of 2 years experience
• Maximum 6 points on license – DR, DD, or IN conviction codes will not be accepted
• Full 5-year employment history with no more than 28-day gaps, verifiable via HMRC’s Government Gateway Portal in PDF format
• DBS dated within the last 10 weeks (assistance available)
• Valid Cargo Operative Certificate Level D (assistance available)
• Dangerous Goods Category 8 (assistance available)
• Manual Handling training (assistance available)
• Health & Safety Awareness training (assistance available)
• Working at heights awareness training (assistance available)
• Willing to sit a driving assessment with an approved customer assessor
