Are you a skilled HGV driver seeking reliable, regular work during the afternoon and evening hours?

Pertemps has multiple openings for Class 1 C+E drivers with our client GXO in Newark. The role involves working days, carrying out deliveries of electrical goods such as washing machines, fridge freezers, tumble dryers, and more. You will be delivering to regional distribution centres and Curry’s stores.

To get started, you’ll need to pass a Class 1 site assessment/induction, which is paid upon completion. The assessment takes 8 hours and includes:

1. A multiple-choice questionnaire covering WTD and general knowledge
2. Pre-checks and coupling-up procedures
3. A driving assessment on the road
4. A classroom-based site induction

Requirements

• Experience: A valid Category C+E (HGV 1) license (minimum 1 year)
• Certification: Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
