Pay Rate: £42,891.08 + Shift Premiums
Grade: P
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (Full-Time) - 3 months - start date in August
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - Shift times vary , start times usually 01:00 to 05:00 finishing around 13:00 up to 18:00
Location: Leicester - LE19 1WY

We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Experienced flexible Class 1 Drivers to carry a mixture of products along with store drops between 2-3 per shift in general from our site in Leicester
• Deliveries are palletised and you will be provided with a pump truck
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Be prepared to work long days as we cover a number of stores across the UK

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have a minimum of 12 months active experience using your class 1 license.
• Double decker experience is desirable.
• Mainly Monday to Friday
• Some weekends at Christmas and new store openings.
