Job description

Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver – Droitwich

Pure Staff are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers in Droitwich on an ad hoc basis. Immediate start available.

Pay Rates:

• Days (Monday to Friday): £15.95
• Nights (Monday to Friday): £18.23

Note: Candidates do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily vehicle checks
• Conduct multi-drop deliveries with handball involved (rolling cages)
• Work flexibly on weekdays and weekends
• Manually record Digi Taco Card entries
• Maintain professionalism when dealing with customers
• Complete assessments prior to work start
• Wear appropriate PPE (safety boots and high-visibility clothing)

Shift Details:

Start times are between 00:00 – 04:00 and 06:30 – 13:00, with at least one weekend shift required. Additional shifts outside these times may also be available.

Client Information:

The client is a major retail distributor, offering store delivery work and trunking to RDCs across the UK.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience (essential)
• Valid DQC card

Additional Information:

This is ongoing work with regular shifts throughout the year. Holiday pay accrues as annual leave, paid separately upon booking leave.
