24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV drivers in Birmingham on behalf of our client.

We are seeking drivers for ongoing work out of their RDC, primarily trunking goods between depots. This role involves automotive industry work with some general haulage. Typically, drivers will make 3-4 drops per day.

Requirements for Class 1 HGV Drivers:

• Valid Class 1 / C+E License
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's, or IN's)
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Ability to start from multiple sites: Solihull, Erdington, Sutton Coldfield, Wolverhampton
• Completion of a paid assessment prior to starting

Driver Duties:

• Operate modern trucks for a growing business in the Midlands
• Long-term ongoing position
• PM shifts: start times between 15:00 - 21:00
• AM shifts: start times between 02:00 - 09:00
• Provide a 3-hour start time window

Pay and Benefits:

PAYE Dynamic rates:

• Night Rate (18:00 to 06:00): £19.94
• Overtime after 8 hours (18:00 to 06:00): £27.91
