Job description

HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers wanted for day or night shifts in Droitwich, with immediate start dates, earning between £16.50 and £19.50 per hour.

Pure Staff is also recruiting day and night drivers!

HGV Class 1 Drivers Pay Rates

• Days: £16.50/hour (Monday to Friday)
• Nights: £17.50/hour (Monday to Friday)
• Nights out: £25.00 per night

Note: The quoted rates exclude holiday pay, which is paid separately when you book holiday. Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Driver Duties

• Trunking to RDCs or making 1-4 drops depending on the route
• 4 nights out per week
• Driving modern, well-maintained trucks

Start times vary; flexibility is preferred, with shifts starting around 05:00 am Monday and continuing until Friday. Shifts may last 10-12 hours, in accordance with tachograph law.

Role Details

Immediate temporary positions for HGV Class 1 Drivers working with a client specializing in national general haulage distribution in Droitwich, Worcestershire. The client is reputed for treating drivers well based on positive feedback.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
• Minimum 6 months of experience
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)
