Job summary

The Best Connection Scotland are recruiting Class 1 (C&E) drivers for ongoing positions in the Cumbernauld area. Roles include local/trunk work with day shifts starting around 7am and night starts around 5pm, with options for days or nights and multiple drops depending on route.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of driving experience, a valid C&E licence, CPC and Digi Card, and no more than 6 points with no major endorsements. PAYE with enhanced weekend rates and holiday pay accrual.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid C&E licence, CPC and Digi Card.
• Max 6 points with no major endorsements (e.g. DR, DD, IN).
• Experience with local/trunking operations and day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C&E) vehicles on day and night shifts for local and trunk runs.
• Handle routes with 3/4 drops on days or 1 drop Aberdeen/Inverness.
• Operate single and double man trunks.

Job Role:

Monday to Friday Local/Trunking work

Days 7am start - Nights 17.00 start

3/4 drops on Days or 1 drop Aberdeen/Inverness

Single and Doubleman trunks

Requirements:

This role will require a minimum of 1 years experience

Valid C&E licence, CPC and Digi Card

Max 6 points with no major endorsements, e.g DR, DD, IN etc

Excellent Rate of Pay - £17.00 per hour -

PAYE

Enhanced rates at the weekend

Holiday pay accrued
