Job summary

A Birmingham-based Class 1 Drivers role is urgently required for our client in the Birmingham area, focusing on multi-drop deliveries and collections and delivering excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.

You will comply with all driving and Road Transport legislation to ensure loads are delivered safely and legally, follow Health and Safety requirements in depot, on the road, at customers’ sites, and communicate with customers on site as a company representative,

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries and collections in the Birmingham area.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.
• Comply with all driving and Road Transport legislation to ensure loads are delivered safely and legally.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements in depot, on the road, at customers’ sites to ensure loading and unloading stock is carried out in a safe and secure environment.
• Communicate with the customer on site, as a company representative, and complete all paperwork to validate accuracy of delivery and collection.
• Feedback to hire desk, delivery or collection, issues affecting customer service to enable resolution.
• Carry out vehicle checks, follow procedures to rectify faults found to ensure vehicle is safe and legal.

Class 1 Drivers URGENTLY needed for our client based in the Birmingham area.

Multi-drop deliveries and collections

Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
