Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions UK is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to operate from Clitheroe. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, loading/unloading with a Moffett and some yard work when not on a run.

Typical duties include driving, P.O.D activities, curtain management and occasional vehicle repairs. A full UK C+E licence and up-to-date driving record are essential, with full training provided for Moffett usage.

Qualifications

• Full UK C+E licence required.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Excellent driving skills and safe driving record.
• No more than 6 points on licence and no disqualifications.
• Right to work in the UK and knowledge of drivers hours rules.
• Moffett licence desirable; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections to customer sites.
• Unloading with Moffett and handballing where required.
• Assist with loading, curtain operation and trailer movements.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects or issues.
