Job summary

Elite Hire is seeking experienced Class 1 drivers for UK routes. You will drive articulated vehicles, perform daily checks, load and secure goods, complete paperwork, and adhere to drivers' hours and tachograph rules.

Represent the company professionally with customers across trunking, multi-drop or tramping routes. Ideal candidates have a Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card, 6–12 months Class 1 experience, and no more than 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• 6–12 months of Class 1 experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 articulated vehicles on trunking / multi-drop / tramping routes.
• Carry out daily vehicle walk-round checks and report defects.
• Load, secure and deliver goods safely and on schedule.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices.
• Follow drivers' hours rules and tachograph regulations.
• Represent the company professionally with customers.
