Job summary

HireGiant Ltd in Derby is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our client for ongoing, full-time LGV work near Pride Park. The role offers trunking between two points or 1–3 daily drops, with paperwork checked and HGV checks completed as part of daily duties.

Working Monday to Friday (weekend shifts optional), typical start around 08:00 and shifts from 8 to 12 hours. This position is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a pay rise once permanent.

Qualifications

• Category C+E licence entitlement
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Safety boots and Hi-Vis vest

Responsibilities

• Making goods deliveries to DCs and RDCs
• Work is simple trunking between two points or 1-3 drops per day
• Ensuring delivery is recovered and paperwork is in order
• Completing HGV vehicle checks
• Adhering to WTD and EU Tacho rules and regulations while driving the HGV truck
• Working Monday to Friday (optional weekend shifts available)
• Starting around 08:00am daily - shifts between 8-12 hours
