Job summary

Rapier Employment are recruiting for Class 1 drivers (tramping) to join our client in Abingdon. This role offers potential temp to perm for the right candidate, with nights out Monday to Friday most weeks and occasional returns to the yard.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with possible weekend work during busy periods. Pay starts at £17.00 per hour for a typical 45-hour week. Candidates must have a valid licence and tachograph card and be flexible with schedules.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid tachograph card is essential.
• Flexible to night-shift patterns and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install and recover products across varied sites.
• Maintain accurate paperwork/electronic records.
• Operate heavy equipment (crane) or be prepared to be trained.
• Work effectively as part of a team with good interpersonal skills.
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
