Job description

Temp - Perm Role!

Pay rate £16.60 per hour
£17.80 per hour after 48 hours per week.
All rates are PAYE, 28 days paid holiday per year.
Nights out are paid at £24 per night out.

Manpower Driving and Logistics are currently recruiting a Class 1 (Cat C+E) driver for our client in the Barrow-Upon-Humber area.

The role will be multi drop artic work, delivering Timber products nationally. You will be required to strap the loads. Experience of strapping is preferred but training can be given on this. You will also be required to use a hand held device to complete delivery notes.

No handballing required!

The role will be Monday - Friday, staying in the truck all week. Start times are usually 5am and shifts can run for up to 13/15 hours.

This position is for an immediate start and will become permanent after a successful trial period.
We also have opportunities for drivers who are looking for temporary and ongoing roles.

The ideal candidate must have a cat C+E licence, drivers CPC and digital tachograph card. A good working knowledge of the Road Transport Regulations is essential along with good geographical knowledge.

For insurance purposes, you must have 12 months HGV delivery experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last 10 years.
