About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

• Deliver products from our customers' base to RDCs, retail stores, and warehouses around the UK.
• Move products using road tankers regularly; tank experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Deliver loads throughout the UK, including nights away with a night out allowance.
• Deal with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Manage your working time and driver hours.
• Maintain regular contact with the transport team for updates and customer expectations.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with industry standards and best practices.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Tanker experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
