Job summary

Qube Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work with Royal Mail, offering flexible shifts and highly competitive hourly rates. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking regular depot-to-depot driving with a well-established client.

Night shifts are available and you can choose shifts that suit your schedule, with potential for long-term ongoing work. To be considered you must hold a valid Class 1 licence, have at least 1 year of Class 1 experience,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with Class 1 licence.
• Must have used a Digital Tachograph Card within last 6 months.
• Flexible and willing to undergo DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicles between Royal Mail depots.
• Transport letters and parcels around the country.
• Complete depot-to-depot deliveries and collections.
• Provide availability and select suitable shifts.

Qube Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 1 (HGV C+E) Drivers to work with Royal Mail.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 Drivers looking for flexible work, attractive rates of pay and regular depot-to-depot driving with a well-established client.

There is also potential for long-term, ongoing work for drivers who perform well and meet the client's requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Class 1 Driver working with Royal Mail, your main responsibilities will include:

• * Driving Class 1 vehicles between Royal Mail depots
• * Transporting letters and parcels around the country
• * Completing depot-to-depot deliveries and collections
• * Working primarily from depot to depot, with minimal manual handling
• * Providing your availability and choosing shifts that suit you

The work is straightforward and offers minimal manual handling, making it an attractive option for drivers who prefer to focus on driving rather than multi-drop deliveries.

DAY AND NIGHT WORK AVAILABLE

Royal Mail are currently particularly busy on night shifts, so the more flexible you are, the more shifts are available to you.

Royal Mail offers very flexible working arrangements, allowing drivers to provide their availability and choose shifts around their existing commitments.

RATES OF PAY

Royal Mail offers excellent rates of pay, with a sliding scale depending on the shift worked.

£21.44 - £27.75 per hour

Rates vary depending on the specific shift, including days and nights.
