Overview

Class 1 Driver - Days. Location: Hull. Start times: Between 4am and 6am. Pay Rate: £16.40. Are you looking for a driving role that offers a great work-life balance? Would you enjoy working part time with flexibility Monday to Friday. Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions. Candidates with significant Class 1 experience are encouraged to apply. However, those with a few months of solid Class 1 driving experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive modern curtain-sided vehicles across the UK.
• Deliver timber to builders' merchants, with an average of 4-6 drops per day (sometimes as few as 1-2).
• Ensure goods are securely strapped before journeys.
• Operate in compliance with FORS Gold level safety standards.
