Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver in Ryton-on-Dunsmore. Training is provided on-site for new drivers, followed by ongoing work with the client. All training days are unpaid.

Shifts run 7 days a week with day and night slots, and overtime is available. The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card, with a minimum age of 21 and up to 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Open to newly qualified and inexperienced drivers with on‑site training.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and secure freight safely.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections across varied parcel weights.
• Ensure delivery documentation is accurate and perform daily vehicle checks.
