Due to busy demands, our well-known Nationwide Distribution client is looking for Class 1 Drivers for trunking at their busy depot, with immediate start.

Shift details:

1. Afternoon and night shifts
2. Weekends available
3. Working 9 to 14 hour shifts - minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift

Requirements:

• Held a C+E licence for a minimum of 12 months (for insurance purposes)
• At least 3 continuous months of recent work showing on your Digi Card
• No infringements

Objectives and Duties:

• Assist with the smooth running of deliveries from depot to hub
• Complete collection and delivery of goods following company procedures (no hand balling, no multi-drop)
• Ensure goods are safely secured and paperwork is in order
• Follow company security procedures
• Keep vehicle clean at all times
• Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by your manager or directors

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• Full UK (C+E) driving license
• Smart appearance
• Good knowledge of English
• CPC, digital tachograph, and IT knowledge/understanding
• Effective communication skills with clients and staff

Pay Rates:

• Mon-Fri: £17/hr
• Overtime (after 8 hours): £24/hr
• Saturday: £21.50/hr
• Saturday Overtime: £24/hr
• Sunday: £25/hr
