Job summary

Veolia Tyseley in Birmingham is recruiting a Night Shift Dump Truck Driver to support our waste collection fleet. You will drive a Class 1 vehicle, load and transport waste to planned locations and ensure compliance with safety standards during overnight operations.

The role requires a Cat C+E licence, CPC/DIGI card and prior driving experience. The position is full-time, on-site with 40 hours per week and nights from 18:00 to 02:45, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break and Veolia benefits.

Qualifications

• Cat C+E (Class 1) licence with previous driving experience.
• Driver CPC/DIGI card holder.
• Valid UK driving licence for operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collections locations and load waste into a walking floor trailer.
• Ensure the vehicle is safely loaded, operated and driven at all times while collecting, transporting or tipping waste.
• Undertake daily pre-use vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the transport office.
• Comply with all traffic laws and maintain a safe, clean work environment at all times.
• Ensure all scheduled work is completed and compliant.
