Job summary

CTRG is hiring Class 1 HGV drivers for trunking work in Coventry. Both full‑time and part‑time shifts are available, including days, nights and weekends. New Pass drivers accepted. Expect ongoing rotation and a modern fleet with weekly payments and Wagestream options.

Candidates must hold a valid UK C+E license, DCPC card, and digital tachograph, and be able to work within hours and WTD regulations. Excellent communication and safety checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) is required.
• DCPC qualification and Digital Tachograph knowledge expected.
• Must understand and comply with drivers' hours and working time directives.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects to maintain safety.
• Excellent communication with a flexible, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 HGV for trunking assignments.
• Adhere to drivers’ hours regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre/post-journey vehicle checks and report faults.
• Coordinate with planning teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

Pay Rate: Up to £20.18 Per Hour (Pre Parity. Increase after 12 weeks)

• Excellent communication skills with a flexible, can-do attitude
