Job summary

ARR Craib Transport Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Driver to operate a variety of trailers for multi-drop deliveries and collections across the local area and Aberdeen region.

The role is permanent, full-time with flexible coverage of day and night shifts, including weekends when required, and involves tail-lift operation and manual handling. The successful candidate will hold UK Class 1 CE Licence, DCPC, tachograph card and counterbalance licence, with a strong focus on customer service, reliability

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Current Counterbalance licence.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Drive a range of trailers including refrigerated units with tail lifts, curtain sider, and flatbed for multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Deliver milk cages to retail stores and return empties; operate tail-lift when required.
• Deliver bakery products to retail, wholesale, and convenience outlets and manage secure load handling.
• Handle and secure goods using straps, nets, and other securing devices; perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Communicate with transport team and participate in regular training to meet industry standards.
