Job summary

Manpower is hiring Class 1 Drivers for our Widnes site. This full-time role is temp-to-perm with 10–12 hour shifts and varied start times (12:00 pm–12:00 am). You will drive and deliver fresh produce across the Northwest up to Cumbria, with client-loaded trailers and on-site unloading. Modern vehicle checks and compliant paperwork are required.

Qualifications

• Multidrop experience required.
• HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC (CPC) required.
• No more than six penalty points; no DD/DR/IN/CD endorsements.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 1–6 drops per shift.
• Safely operate vehicle to business standards.
• Deliver fresh produce to client sites across the Northwest and Cumbria.
• Unload trailers as required and place roll cages at depots.
• Complete and sign off paperwork before leaving sites.
• Perform vehicle checks for roadworthiness and proper load security.
