Job summary

Booker Group plc in Pontefract is seeking Class 1 drivers to join our Transport Team. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers’ stores, with handball and manual work required.

Roles involve outdoor work in varying weather, flexible hours, and potential overtime. We welcome applicants with a Class 1 Licence and Driver CPC, who can deliver excellent customer service and adapt to daily route changes.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence Holder.
• Driver CPC Holder.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience of multi-drop; temperature controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential

Responsibilities

• Safe delivery of stock to independent retailers stores.
• Handball and manual handling required; physical work in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible in work and hours (including short notice) across daily routes.
