Job summary

Booker is recruiting Class 1 drivers to join the Transport Team at a Booker Retail Partner site in the United Kingdom. The role involves safe delivery of stock to independent retailers with a 48-hour week, start times around 10:00–13:00, and a rolling two-week rota.

Basic rate is £18.18 per hour with overtime at £20.59 and a night premium of £2.56 per hour. CPC training is funded; opportunities for overtime and flexible hours are available.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Licence required and Driver CPC held.
• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver stock safely to independent retailers’ stores as part of the Booker Transport Team.
• Perform handballing and manual handling; work activities can be physically demanding.
• Flexibility with routes and hours, including start times and potential short-notice changes.
