Job summary

Churchill Freight Services Ltd is hiring permanent, full-time Class 1 Drivers to cover the Southern Counties of the UK. Based from depots including Eastleigh, you will collect and deliver agricultural, aggregate and general freight with 3–4 nights out per week and a Monday to Friday week, plus occasional weekend work in harvest season.

You will earn £800.57 per week plus a weekly bonus of 10% on vehicle earnings over £2,400 per week and a night-out allowance of £25 per night.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years driving experience with a Class 1 (C+E) license.
• Customer service focus is essential for this role.
• Willingness to work night-out shifts during the Harvest period and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver agricultural, aggregate and general freight.
• Operate bulk tipping and curtain side work across Southern Counties.
• Maintain high standards of service for Bartholomews Agri Food customers.

Job description

Our driving team work across the Southern Counties of the UK helping our agricultural business Bartholomews Agri Food Ltd to service our farmer customers, ensuring that goods are delivered in first class condition, bulk loads are collected efficiently from farms or aggregates from third party customers. Our south coast depots include Chichester, Shoreham, Petersfield, Eastleigh, Blandford and Maidenhead.

We now have permanent, full-time openings for Class 1 Drivers with opportunity to earn a highly competitive salary plus full company benefits package.

• UK based, work will include bulk tipping and curtain side work
• Collecting and delivering agricultural, aggregate and general freight.
• 3 to 4 nights-out per week.
• Monday to Friday working week with some weekends during the Summer Harvest period (end of July to September)
• Our main operating centre is based in Chichester, West Sussex with a depots at Blandford, Eastleigh, Maidenhead and Shoreham

Highly competitive remuneration and benefits package:

£800.57 per week plus WEEKLY BONUS OF 10% of vehicle earnings over £2,400.00 per week.

AND Night-out allowance of £25 per night.

Please note that Nights Out apply to every role each week Monday to Thursday and we cannot grant holiday at Harvest time (August & September)
