Job summary

M4 Specialist are recruiting for an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Normanton. The role offers Monday to Friday work with a choice of day or night shifts and is anchored around hospital, care home and healthcare site deliveries and collections.

You will mainly drive a Class 1 vehicle, with occasional loading/unloading, carry out daily vehicle checks, complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately and maintain a professional attitude with site

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and ADR qualification.
• Relevant Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle as part of a waste management operation.
• Predominantly driving with some loading/unloading duties.
• Visit hospitals, care homes and other healthcare sites.
• Ensure waste is transported safely and in accordance with procedures.
• Complete vehicle and delivery/collection paperwork accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers and site staff.
• Follow ADR, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Work Monday to Friday on either the day or night shift.

Location: Normanton (WF6 1TW)

Pay: £16.50 per hour

Monday to Friday

Day shift: 4:00am starts - 10-hour shifts

Night shift: 4:00pm starts - 10-hour shifts

This is a great opportunity for a Class 1 driver looking for Monday-Friday work, with the role being predominantly driving and involving deliveries/collections from hospitals, care homes and other healthcare establishments.

The Role

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle as part of a professional waste management operation
• Predominantly driving, with some loading/unloading duties
• Visiting hospitals, care homes and other healthcare sites
• Ensuring waste is transported safely and in accordance with relevant procedures
• Completing vehicle and delivery/collection paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site staff
• Following all ADR, health & safety and company procedures
• Working Monday to Friday on either the day or night shift
