Job summary

XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS IT EUROPE is seeking Class 1 Day Drivers for our Bury St Edmunds site. The role covers delivering between customer sites and network locations on a Monday to Friday day shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime opportunities.

We offer a competitive rate of £16.38 per hour, plus access to a pension, holiday pay, discounts, and the XPO University for training and progression into roles across management, sales, and warehousing.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• ADR qualifications would be advantageous for this role.
• No more than six penalty points on licence.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

• Delivering between customer sites and making collections when required.
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to XPO standards.
• Safe use of tail lift and pallet trucks where no FLT is available.

• As a Driver, you'll be working on our Day routes, delivering between sites in our network and customer sites.
• You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours (plus overtime) per week on the Monday to Friday day shift.

What you need to succeed at XPO

• We'll need you to have a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement), ADR qualifications would be advantageous for this role
• You'll have no more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Be part of something big.
