We are now recruiting for Class 1 Drivers on Days to join our team at Great Bear Lutterworth MP1 on a Full-time and permanent position.

Job Description

Shift: 5 from 7 days - will need to include at least 1 weekend day. Please be advised there will be a 2-hour start window.

Salary: £42,298 per annum

Overtime: £22.19 per hour after 55 hours worked across all shifts.

• Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance.
• Manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per company procedure.
• Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting professionally at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience is essential.
• Full C+E entitlement with CPC & Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points; no DD/DR code convictions.
• Understand and comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Please be aware that contact with alcohol may occur.
