Qualifications

Job Details

Shift: Monday-Friday at 02:00am, 08:00am, and 10:00am start times

Salary: £38,247 per annum (£14.01 per hour)

Overtime: x1.5 of the hourly rate, effective after weekly contracted hours are completed

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
• Observe and adhere to company rules, including health, safety, and hygiene policies
• Maintain knowledge of transport department operations
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and appearance
• Manage own working time in accordance with the Road Transport Directive
• Follow tachograph rules and regulations at all times
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per company procedures
• Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
• Make professional deliveries to customers’ premises

Qualifications

• Minimum of recent Class 1 Driver experience for at least 1 year
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and drivers’ hours regulations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
