Job summary

Velocity in the North East of England is recruiting HGV 1 drivers for a temp-to-perm role at our Peterlee distribution centre. We have both dayshift and night trunk positions available, with start times around 0700 for days and 1700 for nights, delivering to local pallet network depots and a Midlands hub.

You must hold a C+E licence, CPC and a digi card, with proven driving experience. The role offers progression to permanent employment for the right candidate and requires reliability and good

Qualifications

• Experience as HGV driver with Class 1 vehicles.
• CPC and digi tachograph card required.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicles (days: ~07:00), multiple drops to local pallet network depots.
• Drive Class 1 nights (start ~17:00), trunk run to hub in the Midlands.
