Job summary

The Best Connection Group Ltd in Knowsley is recruiting for a Class 1 (C+E) Driver on a temp-to-perm basis for a well-established transport operation. The role involves curtainsider trunking to regional RDCs with straightforward routes and regular weekday shifts.

You will typically start at 07:00, Monday to Friday, with up to three deliveries per day and no manual handling required. The fleet is clean and well-maintained, loads are secured with straps, and holiday accrual is paid with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) Licence required.
• CPC Qualification Card validated.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Curtainsider trunking work to regional RDCs.
• Up to 3 deliveries/stops per day.
• No handball or manual handling required.
• Opening and closing curtains.
• Securing loads using straps.
• Clean and well-maintained fleet.
• Straightforward routes and daily responsibilities.
