Job summary

Driver Hire Belfast is seeking a Class 1 Driver (C+E) for a permanent, full-time role in Northern Ireland. This position offers a 45-hour week with a strong salary of £39,195 per year and stability of a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, with at least 1 year of Class 1 experience and be 25 or older for insurance purposes. Travel includes routes across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, with a rotating

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
Current Driver CPC.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
Must be 25 years of age or older (insurance requirement).

Responsibilities

Collect and deliver materials to sites across Northern Ireland and ROI in a reliable, courteous manner.
Complete daily raw material collection sheets.
Conduct and complete daily vehicle safety inspection records.
Maintain required vehicle cleaning records.
Keep assigned vehicle clean and presentable inside and out.
Ensure all transport documentation is completed and returned to the office.
Operate a forklift and assist with loading/unloading lorries.
Liaise with site supervisors and production management for efficient goods movement.
