Job summary

Manpower are recruiting a Class 1 driver (C+E) for a major confectionery distributor in the York area. You will work across day, night, trunking and shunting shifts, with on-site loading/unloading as needed. Roles are ad hoc, with weekends and variable hours.

On average, shifts range 8–12 hours, with a 3 hour induction and 3 days of training for successful candidates. PAYE weekly, 28 days holiday, auto-enrolment pension.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ Class 1 driving experience required.
• Licence with no more than 3 points; no disqualifications accepted.

Responsibilities

• Drive day, night, trunking and shunting tasks as required.
• Load and unload where needed and handle on-site movement.
• Cover ad hoc shifts including weekends; may be long-term temporary.
