Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property in the Stoke Ferry area is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a market-leading agricultural and supply chain operation. This permanent full-time role offers flexible shift patterns, modern equipment, and stable, long-term work.

You will safely deliver to farms and ports, collect materials from ports and storage facilities, perform daily checks, and keep accurate logs while maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driver's Licence.
• CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Proven experience driving HGV C+E vehicles.
• Bulk blower experience is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to health & safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver products to scheduled customer sites and farms.
• Collect raw materials from ports, farms, and storage facilities as dispatched by transport planners.
• Discharge loads safely and adhere strictly to site bio-security and hygiene guidelines.
• Perform thorough daily walk-around vehicle checks to maintain road-worthiness.
• Weigh vehicles in and out using on-site weighbridge systems.
• Wash and sanitise vehicles and trailers to uphold high standards of quality and food safety.
• Accurately complete and submit all daily driving logs, paperwork, and compliance documentation.
