Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Driver (C+E) for day shifts based around Eggborough, Goole (DN14). You will drive a curtain-sided Renault/Volvo fleet, delivering insulation products to merchants and sites across the UK.

The role offers a Monday-Friday pattern with start times at 04:00, 06:00 or 11:00 and a potential temp-to-perm path for the right candidate. A strong safety record and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN or CD).

Responsibilities

• Deliver insulation products to building merchants and occasional construction sites across the UK.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently; operate a curtain-sided trailer.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift; complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Occasional backhaul collections and ensuring high standard of customer service.

Job Type: Full-time | Temporary with Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of a leading global logistics company based in Eggborough, Goole (DN14). This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering competitive pay, regular Monday to Friday work, and the potential to secure a permanent position.

Shift Start Times

We have a variety of day shift start times available:

• 04:00
• 06:00
• 11:00

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be delivering insulation products to building merchants and, on occasion, construction sites across the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing Class 1 deliveries safely and efficiently
• Averaging
• Operating a

curtain-sided trailer

• Opening and securing the trailer curtains to allow customers to unload using a forklift
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
• Completing and returning all delivery paperwork accurately
• Undertaking occasional backhaul collections
• Driving a modern

Renault or Volvo fleet vehicle

• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Following all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you'll need:

• A valid

Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence

• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Good knowledge of the UK road network
• No more than

6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements)
