Job summary

Ideal Recruit Ltd is seeking Class 1 drivers for a reputable company in Milton Keynes. The role involves a 5-out-of-7 rota with 8+ hour shifts, and shared hotel accommodations including meals. Mileage is paid at 45p per mile within the UK, with a weekly relocation bonus of £240 after each full week of shifts.

Project duration is 8–10 weeks and requires work on Christmas Eve/Boxing Day and NYE/NYD. Inductions take a few hours and support will be available throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Up-to-date CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).

Responsibilities

• Work a rota based on any 5 out of 7 days with a minimum of 8 hours daily.
• Live near Milton Keynes or stay in hotel while relocated.
• Travel mileage paid between hotels within the UK at 45p per mile.
• Await induction and receive driver support throughout the contract.
• Project duration will be 8–10 weeks; Christmas/NYE work may be required.
