Job summary

Ideal Recruit Ltd in Milton Keynes (approx. 1 hour from some sites) seeks Class 1 drivers for a reputable client. The rota is 5 days out of 7 with a minimum of 8 hours per shift, including block-booked hotel accommodation, breakfast, and one meal per day for the contract duration.

Travel mileage between hotels is paid at 45p per mile within the United Kingdom. Weekly subsistence of £15 per day (£105/week) and a relocation bonus of £240 per week are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Up-to-date CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods as a Class 1 driver across designated routes.
• Relocate to hotels as required and maintain compliance with hotel-based arrangements.
• Start times between 01:00 and 03:00 and adhere to weekly shift rota.
